A Future & A Hope Conference

A Future & A Hope Conference

A Future and A Hope Conference provides expert education and training for people who want to learn more about fostering, adoption and parenting children from hard places.

Our hope is to build faith and community around mission. Could foster care help create our next Tribe or a new way to express faith? What if a few families decided to partner with a local foster family offering encouragement, rides, babysitting, fellowship, and an 'extended family of faith'? Join us as we discern opportunity to seek the good in our city.

Hosted at Hill Country Bible Church. Childcare is available but limited. Cost $25/person

Registration: https://www.fosteringhopeaustin.org/afah-conference/

Tribes' Supper Club

Tribes' Supper Club

Foundation Communites at Lakeline Station (map)

What a way to spend a Friday eve than among friends, good food, and discovering community with our larger swath of Austin neighbors?

North & Central Tribes will partner with Foundation Communities to host “Supper Club" meals for 60-70 people. Most residents are immigrants, all are in subsidized housing. This is not only a great way to love our Austin neighbors and appreciate cultures.

Invite friends & neighbors along as we seek the peace of our city. Please take the time to “cast the net” in your neighborhood and friend groups.

Contact Buddy for dinner menu sides to bring.

Baptism Sunday

Baptism Sunday

Chapel at Riverbend (map)

Like a bride & groom exchanging vows, baptism is an outward declaration of an inward and personal commitment for follow Christ. It is an important and sacred gesture for every Christ-Follower.

Perhaps, you’d like to be baptized for the first time or, if you were sprinkled as a child, you’d like to make that decision for yourself. And still others realize their belief and dedication to Christ means something far different than it did in adolescence. Whatever the case might be, if you have interest or questions, contact Pastor David.
